I DESIGNED THE BUSINESS CARDS ON PHOTOSHOP AFTER VECTORISING AN IMAGE OF PERSPECTIVE TOPOGRAPHY. I DECIDED TO GO WITH THIS IMAGE AS A BASE IMAGE DUE TO THE RELEVANCE TO OUR COMPANY ETHOS AND ABOUT US. THE TOPOGRAPHY IN RELATION TO CULTURAL CONTEXT, AS WELL AS THE ADAPTABILITY IN TERMS OF GOING FROM A 2D TO 3D FORM.I THEN PLAYED AROUND WITH COLOUR AND IMAGERY, HOWEVER, I DECIDED TO SETTLE FOR A GREEN AS A CONTINUOUS THEME THROUGHOUT OUR MERCHANDISING AS CLEAR IMAGERY THAT PEOPLE COULD RECOGNISE AS OUR BRAND (AS MENTIONED IN THE BUSINESS PLAN AS ONE OF MY AIMS).

THE GREEN FROM THE WEBSITE AND THE DESIGNS FOLLOWS THROUGH THE WHOLE NATURAL IDEOLOGY.

ONE OF THE MEMBERS OF THE GROUP SUGGESTED GETTING RID OF THE COLOURED BACKGROUND AND HAVING THE WHITE FROM THE LINES JOIN WITH THE WHITE OF THE LOGO AND I DISAGREED QUITE HEAVILY BUT I JUSTIFIED MYSELF IN THE SENSE THAT A BUSINESS CARD IS SUPPOSED TO BE READ AND UNDERSTOOD FROM ONE QUICK LOOK AS IT IS A REPRESENTATION OF THE BRAND AND SO I WANTED TO DESIGN AND CREATE SOMETHING CLEAR AND UNDERSTANDABLE FOR ALL.
